These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and ApplyAI ("ApplyAI", "we", "us") and govern your access to and use of the ApplyAI website, applications, and services (the "Service"). By creating an account, clicking "I agree", or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
ApplyAI uses AI to generate tailored CV content, cover letters, interview questions and related materials based on the CV and job description you provide. Outputs are generated by large language models and may contain inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any output before sending it to a third party. ApplyAI does not guarantee any particular outcome, including interviews or job offers.
You retain ownership of the CVs, job descriptions, and any other content you upload ("Your Content"). You grant ApplyAI a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including sending it to our sub-processors (such as our AI model provider). You represent that you have the right to share Your Content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
You agree not to:
ApplyAI Pro is offered on a recurring subscription basis at the price displayed at checkout (currently £8 / month or £65 / year, inclusive of any applicable taxes collected by our payment processor). Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and you keep Pro access until that date.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also accept Stripe's terms. We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice before your next renewal.
All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not offer refunds, credits, or pro-rated reimbursements for partial billing periods, unused generations, downgrades, forgotten cancellations, or dissatisfaction with AI-generated outputs.
By starting your subscription you expressly request immediate access to the digital Service and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law (including the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), you waive any statutory right of withdrawal / "cooling-off" period once the Service has begun. We may, entirely at our discretion, offer a goodwill refund in exceptional cases (e.g. duplicate charges or proven service failure) — this is not a contractual right.
Free accounts are limited to 3 generations per calendar month and retain only the 3 most recent applications; older applications may be deleted automatically. Pro features (deep match analysis, interview prep, CV improvement tips, templated exports, and mock interview practice) are reserved for paying subscribers.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; sections that by their nature should survive (including IP, disclaimers, no-refund, limitation of liability) will survive.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific employment outcomes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyAI's total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to ApplyAI in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (e.g. for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of residence where required by local law.
